Nil Nirjane (নীল নির্জনে) is actually a movie whose music has been scored by Cactus. The movie shows Cactus as a lead Bengali band who has gone to a secluded place to shoot music videos for their new album Nil Nirjane. It is in this secluded place where several people meet and life unfolds. The movie is of low category but the music is excellent and perhaps one of the best that Cactus has ever come up with. Songs like Mon and Nowa are appealing both because of their tune and lyrics. However, all the songs of this album are not available and only few are there for download. Even these few songs are worth listening to and you can never miss them.
The year 2002 saw a new chapter being
added to the Bengali music industry.
For the first time ever, the score of a
Bengali movie was done completely by a
Bangla rock band CACTUS and the movie
was NIL NIRJONE. The band is proud to
be associated with this project which
belted out cult tracks like Mon, Noah
and Nil Nirjone.
